How to setup booklets

Booklets are made from combining 8.5 x 11 pages into "spreads" allowing binding in the middle of the document.

The picture below represents how those pages are converted

What you need to do:

  • Setup all pages to be 8.5 x 11 oriented in the same direction (potrait or landscape)
  • Content should be 1/8" away from the edge of the paper on all sides
  • Leave about 1/2" of space on the bottom right corner for job number stamp
  • Pages should be divisible by 4 (8,16,24,etc...)
  • If pages do not require content, it is best to put "This page is intentionally blank"

What we will do:

  • Convert the pages into spreads
  • Stamp a code a the bottom of the book (01-1070)
